Funding

There are several ways to fund your Extended Service activity. Some schools choose to spend a proportion of their budget on these activities whilst others ask for parental contributions.

It is possible to use Pupil Premium funding to help towards the cost of children from low income families taking part in various activities. This funding is allocated to schools to spend as they see fit as the Government believes this is the best way to address the current inequalities, ensuring that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most.

We are able to register holiday clubs with Ofsted making them eligible for Child Tax Credits. This enables most parents to reclaim up to 70% of the activity cost. To find out more please click here:
