The schools our teachers work in - Education Group only work within primary schools. In England, primary schools cater for 5-11 year olds and conform to the teaching guidelines of the National Curriculum at Key Stages One and Two. School Term Dates - The exact dates for school terms and holidays are decided by the local authority or the governing body of a school. In the UK, the school year commences in September and runs to mid-July.
