Derek Redmond Workshop
With the London 2012 Olympics drawing closer Education Group has teamed up with Olympic legend, Derek Redmond.
Derek held the British record for the 400 metres sprint and won gold medals in the 4x400 metres relay at the World Championships, European Championships and Commonwealth Games. However he is best remembered for the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona where, helped by his father, he overcame injury to complete his lap - a well remembered moment in Olympic history.
We are offering your school the opportunity to have a visit from Derek, the Olympic legend, to regale the children with tales of his career.
